The country is very calm, with friendly locals and quite safe. Vineyards and delicious wine are the first associations that come to mind when talking about this country. With winemaking, things are really going well. There are several wineries in the country, you can go to each and taste the local wine. Here you can go down to the wine cellars and walk through the endless rows of barrels and bottles, which even the best wineries in France and Italy would envy. There is a whole underground city, more than 120 kilometers long, with cellars, ancient vaults and even streets. And the Purcari winery received medals at exhibitions in France. It is so beautiful here that, surrounded by slopes with vineyards, your head is spinning even without wine.
The country will not be able to surprise you with rich shopping and luxury stores, but it will definitely win the heart that will be open to authentic crafts, beautiful nature with the largest lake Beleu with its ideal reliefs, and where every day you will feel calm and peaceful in this grape paradise where even the festival is held in a wine cellar.
