7. Author Integrations

On our platform, there is a possibility for integrating authors (individuals) and companies (legal entities). Using this feature, an author can write articles not only for their own blog but also for the blogs of companies they are integrated with. When creating such an article, the author retains their authorship, and the company receives content around which it can advertise its services.

To set up author and company integration. The author needs to go to the corresponding company's page in their personal account and click on the three dots in the upper right corner under the cover (…) -> Become an Author and send a request to the company.

To complete the integration, the company needs to accept the authorship request. To do this, go to the profile tab Applications -> Authorship Applications and accept the author's request.

Once the company successfully accepts the request from the author, the author will appear in the Author Integrations section in the company's personal account. And in the author's personal account, the corresponding company will appear in this section.

From this moment, the author can write articles in the company's blog. To do this, when creating an article, they should select the appropriate option. For more details on the article editor, read here.

If the author or the company no longer wants to use this integration, they can unilaterally disable this feature.

For the company: go to ⚙ -> Author Integrations. Select the author and click the “Disconnect” button next to them. After this, the author will no longer be able to publish articles for this company.

For the author: go to ⚙ -> Company Integrations. Select the corresponding company and click the “Disconnect” button next to it. After this, the author will no longer be able to publish articles for this company.

Available options: article promotion and banner advertising.

For more detailed information, contact us: ⚙ -> Content Promotion -> Contact Us

9. Query Setup

On the howtomove platform, users have the ability to send their query on topics of interest to many companies at once. They can do this on the following pages: main, country page, and country page + tag.

To receive such queries, the company needs to follow these steps:

  1. Register on the howtomove platform as a legal entity.
  2. Complete the company profile, upload a logo, and provide a contact phone number if necessary.
  3. Request official page status and receive a checkmark from the administration.
  4. Set up the query reception conditions.

To receive queries, you need to configure the directions from which you want to receive queries. Several directions can be specified. To set the direction, you need to specify:

  • From country. This field is optional.
  • To country. This field is mandatory. Specify the country in the direction where you conduct your business.
  • Region, if necessary
  • City, if necessary
  • Language. Specify the languages in which you are ready to receive queries.
  • Tags. Specify the tag for your activity specialization.

For example: A company is engaged in real estate sales in the UAE, Dubai, and has English and Spanish-speaking managers. It is best to set the following direction:

From country: All countries

To country: UAE

Region: Dubai

City: Dubai

Language: Spanish, English

Tags: #RealEstate

10. Article Creation Editor

Both individuals and legal entities can create articles.

To create an article on a computer: click the appropriate button either in the personal account, on any country's page, or in the upper right corner of any page.

To create an article in the mobile version: go to the menu ☰ -> Create Article

You can review the article requirements separately here.

To create an article, you need to specify the following parameters:

1. Direction. This is a very important parameter that determines where exactly your article will be displayed. When choosing a direction, you need to specify two parameters:

1.1. From country. This field is optional. Here you need to specify the country for which the article is relevant. You can specify several countries here. If your article focuses on the destination country regardless of where people are coming from, it is better to specify All countries.

1.2. To country. This is a mandatory field. Specify the destination country.

2. Tags. This is an important parameter that determines where exactly your article will be displayed. Choose one or several tags that best match the topic of your article. For users searching for specific articles, this is an additional filter.

If you cannot find the necessary tag, you can write it in the tag search field, and in this case, with your article, you will suggest a new tag, and if it is approved by the moderators, we will add it to the tag list, and it will already be used in your article.

3. Cover. Add colorfulness to your article.

4. Title. Come up with a catchy title for your article. Ideally, it should include a phrase for the key query you would like your article to be found by.

For SEO specialists: The article title is automatically specified in the meta title <title>

5. Article body. Read more about article formatting possibilities here.

6. Article settings (in the desktop version it is on the right side of the article editor, in the mobile version the  button is above the article editor):

6.1. Specify where your article will be published. If you have a legal entity account or an individual account without active integrations with a company or companies, only your username will be specified. If you have an individual account with at least one integration with a company, you will be offered a choice of which blog to write in. In your own or in the company’s blog. Note that an article written for a company will also be present in your own blog.

6.2. Choose the article language. This is a very important parameter because it determines the language feed in which your article will be loaded.

6.3. Help with direction (Additional settings). If you can help readers on the topic of the article, use the switch, and a help icon will be added to the direction you specified. This will indicate to users that they can contact you for help on this direction.

6.4. Disable comments (Additional settings). Use this feature if you want to disable the ability to comment on your article.

As you work on the article, it is automatically saved as a draft. Additionally, there is a Save button for saving the article as a draft.

By clicking the 👁 button, you can preview how your article will look after publication.

By clicking the Publish button, you send the page for moderation.

11. Text editor for articles

1. Start writing an article: under the field "Article Title" Click +. Then, in the dropdown menu, you can select the necessary element for the article:

  • Text
  • Title
  • Image
  • List
  • Divider
  • Quote
  • Inset

In addition to the usual text format, you have the ability to edit the text. To do this, highlight the part of the text you want to change, and a pop-up field will appear where you can:

  • Convert the text to a Title, List, or Quote;
  • Change the font of the text to bold or italic;
  • Make part of the text a link to a page on the internet or an anchor.

For SEO specialists: when text is highlighted in bold, it is assigned the <strong> parameter

To the right of the first line of text, there is a button with 6 dots. By clicking on it, you can move the paragraph up or down, or delete it.

Headings are an important component of any text. By clicking the button with 6 dots to the left of the heading, you can select the heading format H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 or use this heading as an anchor - a place you can link to within the article being created.

To create an anchor, you need to click the button with 6 dots to the left of the heading and set the attribute in English in the dropdown field opposite the anchor. Then, within the article, you can make links to this heading.

For example: By creating an anchor for a heading with the attribute #anchor, you can link to this heading in the text. To do this, highlight part of the text, click on the chain icon, and then specify #anchor in the link field. Readers of your article can then click on this text-link and be taken to the specified heading.

2. Inserting images makes the article more attractive and makes it more comfortable to read. In addition, proper image addition increases the chances that such an article will be more attractive to search engines.

Click + to the right of the article field, select "Image". Then upload the desired image. Once the image is uploaded, a caption field will appear where you can fill it in.

Advice and information for SEO specialists:

- Upload files that contain the keyword phrase written in Latin in their name. For example: in an article about Real Estate in UAE, it is better to upload an image named nedvizhimost-v-oae-dubai.jpg. If there are several images, name them differently, but preferably containing the keyword phrase nedvizhimost-v-oae.

- Caption for the image. The caption for the image automatically creates the alt attribute of the img tag. Using keywords in it increases the ranking in search results. Additionally, this parameter determines the ranking in image searches.

Important! Pay attention to the authorship of the uploaded photo. If the image you are uploading was not created by you, check the rights to use this image. The platform is not responsible for the publication of images by third parties that violate copyright. In case of a complaint from the copyright holder about a violation of their rights, we are ready to immediately delete the content that violates the copyright holder's rights.

3. List. There are two types of lists: numbered and bulleted. Click on the + to the left of the cursor and select "List" from the dropdown menu. This line will be converted into a list.

Click the button with 6 dots to choose which list you want to use, numbered or bulleted.

This function sets the text separator in the form of three stars: "***"

4. Quote. The editor allows you to add quotes and make captions to them. Click the + to the left of the cursor and select "Quote" from the dropdown menu. This line will be converted into a quote with two fields. The first field is the quote itself, and the second field is its caption.

Additional features - setting the orientation of the quote. Click the button with six dots to the left of the quote and select the text orientation of the quote in the dropdown menu.

5. Inset. The inset is used to highlight an important part of the text by creating a colored background.

Click + to the left of the cursor and select "Inset" from the dropdown menu. This line will be converted into an inset.

The text of the inset can be written in regular, bold, or italic font, and you can also make it a link. Highlight the text and choose the appropriate style in the pop-up window.

6. Embedding a video from YouTube. In the article editor, you can embed a video from YouTube. To do this, simply paste a link like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNnDsNN_Pck into the text field, and the video preview will automatically appear in the editor.

Additionally, a field for the video caption will appear. The caption text for the video can be written in regular, bold, or italic font, and you can also make it a link. Highlight the caption text and choose the appropriate style in the pop-up window.

On the howtomove platform, users have the opportunity to send a request to many companies at once. This is very convenient because, often, in search of a real estate agency or a company that helps obtain a residence permit in another country, you have to visit 10-20 websites and send the same request to each one to learn their terms and choose a suitable company.

To fill out a request, the user needs to go to the appropriate link by clicking the "Send Request" button on the lifebuoy banner. The banner can be found on the main page, as well as on country pages and direction pages or click here.

On the request page, provide the contact account in Telegram if you want to receive responses from companies in your Telegram.

1. Indicate which country you are from in the "From Country" field.

2. Indicate which country your request concerns "To Country" (this field is mandatory).

3. Specify the region.

4. Specify the city.

5. Select a suitable tag, such as #realestate or #residencepermit.

6. Select the languages in which you would like to receive responses to your request.

7. In the "Message" field, write your request to the companies.

Done! Now, many companies registered on our platform specializing in the corresponding field will send you their offers.

If you are a company that wants to receive such requests, find out how to do it here.
