Namibia
Namibia (Republic of Namibia) is a state located in southwest Africa, bordered in the north and northeast by Angola, in the northeast by Zambia, and Botswana in the east and the Republic of South Africa in the south. In the west it is washed by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
The capital is the city of Windhoek.
The form of government is a parliamentary republic. The head of state is the president, who is elected through elections, and the government of the country exercises power in accordance with the constitution. The Parliament of Namibia is a bicameral body consisting of the National Council (National Council) and the National Assembly (National Assembly).
The climate depends on the region of the country. Much of the state, especially in the western and central regions, has an arid and desert climate with very little rainfall and high temperatures. Here is one of the most famous deserts - the Namib. In some eastern and northern regions, the climate is closer to subtropical, with more rainfall and less extreme temperatures.

The official language is English. In addition, Namibia is multicultural and a variety of languages are spoken here, including German, Afrikaans (a Creole language derived from Dutch), Oshiwambo, Nama and many other languages.
Namibia is rich in natural resources; gold, silver, diamonds, copper, lead, tin, zinc pyrites, uranium and manganese are mined here. Fisheries also play a significant role in the economy, thanks to the Atlantic coastline. The country exports seafood such as fish and shrimp. Even though only 2% of the land has access to irrigation, agriculture is an important sector. In the northern and central regions, residents raise cattle, while Karakul sheep and goats are mainly raised in the southern arid regions. Main crops: millet, sorghum, corn and peanuts.
The standard of living in Namibia varies depending on the region and social group. Some cities, such as Windhoek, have a higher standard of living than remote rural areas. Overall, Namibia has a higher standard of living than some other African countries, but still has income inequality and problems accessing education and healthcare.
The medical system is developed and the country has several large hospitals and clinics.
The educational system is relatively developed and the country has several universities and educational institutions. Compulsory education is provided and the country's literacy rate is about 82%, which is quite high.
Security levels in Namibia are generally relatively high compared to some neighboring countries. Namibia is considered one of the most stable and safe countries in the region.
Tourists will have a lot to see here: Namibia is known for its national parks and reserves, such as Ethos, Naukufland, and Mudume. Here you can admire such wild animals in their natural environment as lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinoceroses and others. There is also the famous site of Twyfelfontein, where you can see ancient dinosaur tracks carved into stone. You can visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop. This ghost town was abandoned after the gold rush. Here you can see abandoned buildings, sand dunes, artificial tunnels and much more. You can also note the Namib Desert. This desert is famous for its huge red dunes, including the tallest dune in the world, Dune 45.
