The Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a state in Southeast Asia on the Indochina Peninsula. In the west it borders with Laos, Cambodia, China. It is washed by the South China Sea. Capital of Hanoi. The form of government is a republic. According to the Constitution, the leading role in the state and society belongs to the Communist Party of Vietnam. Climate. Vietnam is located in the subequatorial monsoon climate, but due to the length of the country from north to south, the climate is somewhat different. The climate differs significantly between northern and southern Vietnam, and the central part is transitional.
