Zambia
Zambia (Republic of Zambia) is located in South Africa and has no access to the sea. It borders Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana, Angola and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The form of government is a presidential republic, the head of state is the president. The capital is Lusaka, the political and cultural center of the country.
Climate. In general, Zambia has a tropical climate with two main seasons - rainy and dry. The rainy season (November - April) provides green vegetation and is important for agriculture. The dry season begins in May and lasts until October. During this period there is practically no precipitation, and the climate becomes hotter and drier. Temperatures may be high.

Language. The official language of Zambia is English, which is used in government, education and business. However, there are many local languages and dialects spoken by different ethnic groups such as Nyanja, also known as Chichewa, Bemba, Tonga and others.
Zambia's economy is heavily dependent on the mining and export of primary resources such as copper and zinc. Agriculture plays an important role in the economy. It provides many jobs. The main crops are corn, sugarcane, soybeans, etc. Increasing productivity in this sector remains a priority. Electricity is exported, which also generates income.
Despite some positive changes, Zambia remains one of the countries with high levels of poverty and inequality.
