The Republic of Turkey is a state mostly located in Western Asia (97%) and partly in Southern Europe (3%). From three sides, Turkey is washed by the seas: in the north - the Black Sea, in the west - the Aegean, in the south - the Mediterranean. The European and Asian parts of Turkey are separated from each other by a water system that forms a sea passage from the Black Sea to the Aegean and includes the Sea of Marmara, the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles. In the southern part of the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn (Sea of Marmara) is one of the most densely populated and beautiful cities in the world - Istanbul. The capital is Ankara. Legislative power belongs to the unicameral parliament - the Great National Assembly, consisting of 600 deputies elected for 5 years.
Climate. The geographic location of Turkey entails different climatic zones. In general, these are 4 different climates: Mediterranean, temperate maritime, continental and mountainous.
The population is about 80,000,000 people.
Language. The official language is Turkish, but the people who work in the resort towns know both English and Russian.
