Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe (Republic of Zimbabwe) is located in the southern part of the continent of Africa, bounded by South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique. Landlocked. The capital is Harare, the largest city in the country, as well as a cultural and industrial center.
The climate in Zimbabwe varies depending on the region, but in general the country has a warm temperate climate with distinct wet and dry seasons. Average temperatures range from 20°C to 30°C, but can rise above 30°C during the dry season.
The population in 2023 was 15,418,674.
Language. English is the official language and is used in government, education, business and the media. Shona is considered one of the most widely spoken local languages. It is spoken by the majority of the population in the southern and central part of the country.
Zimbabwe's economy is based on agriculture, employing almost 70% of the working population, as well as resource extraction (including gold and platinum), manufacturing and services. Exports include tobacco, cotton, tea and sugar cane.
The lives of people in Zimbabwe are varied and influenced by many factors such as social status, ethnicity, location and access to resources. In large cities, people work in a variety of fields, including government services, manufacturing, education, healthcare, and business. Life in cities is usually more modern and comfortable than in rural areas.
Zimbabwe has a developed education system and most children attend school. Higher education is also available, with many Zimbabweans pursuing degrees from universities both domestically and abroad.
Healthcare is provided by both public and private organizations. However, the healthcare system faces limitations in resources and availability of healthcare services in some areas.
The country faces problems of poverty and inequality. Despite some efforts to reduce poverty, many people live in conditions of low income and lack of access to basic services. Life in the country, as in many other countries, is different and depends on many factors. The country has its achievements and people continue to work to improve their living conditions and develop the country.
